i beleive satin has more of an egg shell finish to it..as where flat black almost looks like it has no finish at all..flat is much harder to keep clean as well

They can even put patterns and designs and do ANY color... those are the main benefits to this hydrographics process...

Thanks guys! Depends on my color. Mine was custom, so it was expensive paint to begin with... price also included taking the rims apart and then putting them back together with Ro_Ja's torque specs, and also painting the inside satin black with a special clear coat so it's not shiney, but durable.
Prices range from $100 - $500 per rim depending how wild you want to go. Solid, easy colors tend to be on the very low end, if not better.
VERY cool process! I've been really pleased with these guys. My plenum and SC piping have stood up to the heat and the paint has held up comparable to powdercoating when changing out tires.
