my g35 sedan running straight pipes

so i liked the look of the hks sport exhaust for the sedan but i didnt like the sound it made...so i did something a little different to fit my taste

the sound at WOT is amazing, while the sound when crusing is not much louder than stock.

How did you do the straight pipe? Just get rid of the resonator? or the cats to?

free rev-1000rpm-7000rpm(sound quality not that great...exhaust was echoing off a wall and distorting the mic on the camera):

essentially..all it is right now is a muffler delete, with a pipe that runs back to where the muffler used to sit. the pipe was made by my coworker, but honestly, you can have this made at any muffler shop.

i am still running the stock cats and 05/06 sedan resonator. i am having a custom y pipe made at my shop soon along with test pipes to see how things change up.

the reason why i am running the sedan testpipe is because i like the sound a lot more over the coupe test pipe. with the coupe test pipe, you dont get the popping like i have when decelerating. the exhaust note is also a lot deeper with the sedan resonator opposed to the coupe.

my cousin is running straight pipes on his coupe also, he should be posting his videos up in a little bit so you guys can hear the difference

Why would he lose back pressure...? Depending on how big of piping he got he might have but straight pipes dont make you lose backpressure...

so let me some this up sorry newb here. All you did was take out the muffler and put a straight pipe there and everything else is stock? If so like the dude above me says wouldnt you loose a lot of back pressure thus loosing noticeable power. If not i would like to do this mod and how much would it cost?
