Downgrade from 20's to Painted OEM 17's

Kinda sad about it, but I need a camber kit since I have about -2 camber in the rear and -2.5 in the front. Rather than eat out the tires I have I thought I'd go back to OEM's, but I wanted to keep the black & white theme so I painted them a matte black. I fixed some of the curb rash, and only did a layer of paint using Montana Gold spray paint. I'm not too worried about perfection, but they came out pretty darn good.

Before pics:

After pics:

I noticed a pretty big difference in handling (went from 245 width to 225 width). I have a bit more of a gap as well but its not too noticeable. Before I had no finger gap in the rear and barely being able to stick a finger in by angling it for the front. Now I have 1 finger in the rear and about 2 fingers in the front...might drop it some more though, haven't decided yet..thoughts?

Took a quick vid of the muffler delete:

Lol, ya, most definitely will be getting camber soon. Selling my Zapco CK 16.2 components on eBay now so I can contribute towards my camber kit fund.

Been getting mixed reviews about looking better or not as good, lol. I think when these wear out I'll go back to the 20's, and then when those wear out, back to 17's but wider tires. These are a little lighter which is a bonus.

Video of muffler delete posted at the bottom of the first post.

Looks better to me... just take off that TEIN sticker and it'll be clean.

Any thoughts about lowering it some more? The previous wheel and tire setup was pretty close to stock. Total diameter difference between the two is 0.5" and total circumference difference is 2". It seems that it rides higher and I have more clearance because I'm not scraping as much. Just wondering if I should lower it a tad more..if so, how much?

I like the stance now. Are you on coils? You can lower the front some more?? Maybe? Too much may throw it off.

I would get spacers first, and THEN see how it looks. More than likely it will look legit. Looks like you could pull off 15/20mm, but can't tell from the photos. Are your rear fenders rolled?

I have Tein Basics. Fenders arent rolled at all. Wheels were tucked in the rear with previous setup and when I had passengers in the back (totaling about 350 lbs) there were no issues. Downtown LA streets did mess up my front tires though by the fenders gashing them, but I haven't had any problems since. I hardly ever have rear passengers anyway.
