Data Systems R-Spec Replica Grille by Ionic

EDIT:

Now available from IONIC!

https://g35driver.com/forums/exterio...g35-coupe.html

I've always loved the Data Systems R-Spec grille as I think the opening of the Gialla grille is just too wide for my tastes. While I was happy with the authentic, the gap where the grille met the hood was just too hard to look past. Having owned both the authentic and replica version, I am much more pleased with Ionic's replica.

Authentic Data Systems R-Spec Grille:

Yeah, it does look better. Not a huge change, but for the owner, I know it is.

When it comes to bodykit fitment and material, sometimes (rarely) the replicas are actually better! Data grille, Nismo diffuser, etc... are the perfect examples of that.

Hah, now I understand what you meant by "Fish lips."

I don't quite like the Data Systems grille, but it looks pretty good on your G.

*Edit* A second look brings to mind "penguin"
lol

Didnt mean to jack the thread, but had good buddies body shop cut out the 2 middle fins on the oem grill and fill in the gaps around the sides/top/and bottom with fiberglass. Retains perfect oem fitment!
