Streets of Willow Track Day - 05.09.2009 / Marcus Cooke Photography
Went to Willow Springs to see Zack and Gabe tear it up on the track. Had a great time hanging out and seeing all the cars, even though it was 90+ degrees out there. Here are some pics:
These were shot with a D300 and either a 70-200mm f2.8VR, 70-200mm f2.8VR +1.4X teleconverter, or 300mmf4 + 1.4X teleconverter, all handheld.

Nitto NT05 - 245/40/R18, 275/40/R18
NT05's are great btw... don't know how long they'd last on the street since they're pretty soft, but once they heat up the grip like crazy. Only time I've lost control was when I hit a patch of gravel on the track yesterday. The car started to slide, but as soon as I hit clean track again the tires hooked right back up.
