Thanks man... Yeah that one is more dramatic because of the clouds..
So you always shoot in raw? or only when you plan to do an HDRI conversion? I did this w/ high quality jpgs, and just shot at multiple exposures.. I was just wondering if that'd even work.. Theoretically, it sounds like it would, but I'm sure the color information wouldn't truly be different.. Just trying to learn other people's tactics to find out what works best..

Yah, you can shoot one RAW and use Photomatix to create what it calls a "pseudo" HDRI. Again, it many cases it may look very similar, but IMO you'll always get better results shooting at least three RAW files.
