NRG Carbon Fiber Exhaust Shields Installed!
NRG Carbon Fiber Exhaust Shields Installed!
Big thanks to mrwong@statik for getting these to me! I was unsure about them prior to installing them, but now I think they add a nice subtle touch! I've never been a huge fan of carbon fiber hoods/trunks, but small carbon fiber accents like these are nice!
They go for $129.99 shipped on eBay, but mrwong@statik offers them for $90 shipped!

Note: I used flash on the above pictures to help highlight the exhaust shields so you guys could see them better. They are more subtle in natural lighting. The picture below was taken with no flash and no adjustments were made in Photoshop.

They look better in natural lighting, but i guess one would need to have their valance blacked out for it to look good.
That would defeat the purpose of these, and I would just get a c/f Nismo (replica) diffuser for that. The c/f diffuser is too much c/f for me. The NRG shields are very subtle in person under natural lighting conditions.
Can't please everyone! Just those with taste!
(I keed, I keed. Don't keel me!)
All kidding aside, I think these are a 'lil more aggressive than a full c/f diffuser. That's why I like them. Again, they may not be everyone's cup of tea.
