Anyone know of a place in Miami that I can get this done? I've been looking to do this for some time now.

congrats Cal - great price and turn-around

black is so much more natural looking (especial with charcoal interior)... +1 on brushing the suede, I did it once and haven't again (yet)...

but FYI
Microsuede, or microfiber, is a man made fiber. It is a knit blend that is made from very fine fibers that can sometimes be a hundred times finer than human hair. These delicate fibers are tightly woven together to create a dense fabric that has many of the came qualities as suede leather. However, it is generally much easier to clean than real suede and is usually much softer, as well. It is often used on furniture because it is very resistant to dirt and can be very durable.
how is that possible?

I don't think the amount of time driving in the sun is enough to fade/discolor...

tint always helps... but windshield isnt tinted (which is where much of the sunlight is hitting the A pillar)...

I found a sunshade that fits the sedan real well - its been years though so I dont remember exactly which store, but it was one of the chain auto parts stores out here (either Auto Zone, Kragen or Pep Boys... It helps protect the rest of the interior as well.

I never park outside without a sunshade (even at car meets - which looks stupid in pics)

suede are not all created equal. the ones that needed to be replaced twice already....well.....the quality is probably not up to par.

Personally I've looked at all the the one's from chuy and they are all godo quality stuff, should last long. Usually interior shops will not buy the cheap shiet, because they get it in huge bulk anyway, not worth it to get the cheapest materials possible only to have a customer come back. Just do what you can to keep it out of the sun during the summer and it will be aite. It's not as bad as some are making it out to be. No need to go out and get windshield tint for it (unless you already have it). LOL

its not just suede that ppl should be concerned with - and I don't recall anyone suggesting getting windshield tinted - but window tint (side and rear) is definitely a good idea...

your dash, leather seats, steering wheel - all of it is subject to damage (over time)... it's not going to be prevalent on a relatively new car (which is why most here do not have problems "yet") - but taking care of it now prevents damage results later.

I always use sun shade (in both vehicles I dive) and park undercover when possible.
