Looking for a pic of some 06 tail lights that were painted black but the LED's and the circles were left red.. Calvin posted this pic a while back and said its the only way tails should be painted.

Not exactly, but close enough.

 

ive always like BB's gtr overlays but i prefer them in the transparent. unless is on an OB of course, then the opaque looks great

 

I like the black car.. The above silver one I don't like the blacked out parts in the rings.. He's blocking the reflectors and thats what gets you pulled over.

Sherrif told me any tailight is perfectly legal as long has it has the reflector inside and the lights work.

 

Calvin any pics of the black one with the tails lit up?

 

These are different than the ones I posed above. The paint scheme is exactly the same, but these are JDM tails (notice the amber turn signals). Just an FYI.







Also, the paint LOOKS to be satin/matte black, but it's gloss - I can assure you. It's just the studio lighting that makes them look satin/matte.

The LEDs shine through just fine.
