Wow!
Someone needs to do their G in this finish... apparently its a car in Abu Dhabi... I thought it was chrome plated - I checked into a process that can plate the entire car (I wanted to do black chrome) - but it's $25K
$25K is pennies compared to this car... it's supposedly white gold
hope it's not a re-post
It's a Mercedes Benz owned by an Abu Dhabi
oil billionaire (naturally).
Featuring the newly developed V10 quad turbo
with 1,600 horsepower and 2800nm of torque
0-100km/h in less than 2secs, 1/4 mile in 6.89 secs
running on biofuel.
That is NOT stainless steel, people; it is WHITE GOLD!

Actually, there is a custom paint that does the finish in chrome like that, and it's gotten lots cheaper recently. In fact at SEMA this year they were showing off the process and had a T-Bucket hot rod done in blue chrome. It would actually look hot on a show car G in something like black or red chrome.

They strip the car down entirely (inside & out) and put it on a giant rotisserie then apply the process... MTV Pimp My Ride had a car that had part of the front end done in flames with this process... most ppl only do a portion of the car (pieces that can be removed and easily plated)... the rotisserie thing is what gets expensive.
My tattoo artist air brushed some engine bay pieces for and I was talking with him about body color and how I wanted to do black chrome (paint)... he told me about a specialty shop that has all kinds of crazy stuff, and they turned me onto the guy that does the chrome plating (they sold him the equipment)...
If anyone is interested in the contact info, I'll look it up. But I doubt anyone here will do this... ya never know I guess
