$4 no eyelids and faded vents.

 

i think you should paint the hood black but leave the vents cf. I like the contrast of the dark hood since you have a black roof, black lipped wheels, and just paint the inside of your headlights black and you'll have a black/white theme going on

 

Im definitely going with the last pic...Im thinking about the fade on the last vent leading into the rest of the hood.
