+1 on just leaving the ride as is... It will finally kill all the anxiety everyone's feeling on "whens this ride gonna be done?!?!?!?" Plus imHo it looks pretty badass just the way it is!

How did u paint your wiper cowl and battery covers?? Just sand smooth and paint or did u fiberglass it??

Well I shaved them, notice there is no doors anymore, but I sanded all the texture out of all the pieces, primed, resanded, reprimed, wetsanded, then paint.

80 to remove the texture, then 180 to remove most of the 80 scratches, then 2k prime. Then 180, reprime. 400 wet, paint, clear. Then 2000, buff

i need to save this for my body shop so the next time they say it cant be done i can say yes it can. iv had so many shops say its a stupid idea to paint the engine bay saying the paint will peal and crack

It can be done, but a lot of shops suck and don't know jack.

wow you sanded and buffed it? I think for just knocking the texture out i would use 220 one prime job then wetsand paint and clear. You had alot of things going on with yours Danny i dont think Frankie would have to go threw all of that.

Ya bro I hit the flat parts with 2000 and buffed them. I agree you could get away with 220 and a prime. I just wanted to make sure mine were ultra glass.

Well Danny you had to give it a little extra love because you filled the holes and had a good deal of body work on them.
