So I'm driving through the White Mountains (NH) and I found a nice spot to take some pics, after snapping some of the car I noticed some blooming foxgloves in the background so I went over and snapped a pic and picked the flower for my wife. So we drive about an hour back to our hotel and I get the flower from the Dunkin cup in the cup holder and bring it in to get it in a vase and to my surprise I notice a very scary hitch hiker.




Pretty flower the wife would like.



I'm absolutely petrified of spiders and nearly had a heart attack when I spotted this guy. Its a Goldenrod Crab spider which is pretty cool, it changes color based on the flower its living on, still scary as fvck tho.



Needless to say my wife didn't get to keep the flower and the hitch hiker was released back to the wild (by my kids) far away from my room lol.

That is a pretty cool spider but I probably would have **** my pants if I saw that in my car! I don't think we get anything exotic like that in NY with the winters we get.

yea defiantly freaked me out especially cuz it was inches from my arm for the whole ride, and its more like all those bugs got pwned by my front end lol

Something like that would probably freak me out. I would be afraid of it jumping off the wall and on to my face. I don't like giving spiders oral sex anyways.
