Austin's CentexVQ and Houston's StrictlyG's got together this past weekend for a couple of days full of fun and friends. The Houston crew cruised in early on Saturday morning and met up with CentexVQ for breakfast at Bill Miller Bar-BQ on 290, then we cruised the twisty roads of the Austin Hill country before attending the 512-project car show at the newly opened Austin Race Track. We walked up and down the track checking out all the modified rides that came in from all over TX and some even out of state. A few CentexVQ and SGS members participated in the show by entering their cars for display. After eating lunch at Sea Dragon we escorted SGS to the A-loft hotel for some rest. When night time came we hit a local Austin club called Cool River, where the live band had us singing till 2 am to great 80's music. I'm sure the pics from that night will be hilarious!
The next day we headed to a Texas Icon restaurant called Round Rock Donuts, where a few of us attempted to eat the Texas Sized donuts of over 12" in diameter! We then cruised the fun roller coaster roads of 2222 and 2244 again to The Oasis restaurant for a lunch with an amazing view. Finally we took a quick stroll to Austin's capital building to close down the weekend before saying goodbye to the Houston crew.
CentexVQ would like to thank all the SGS members that participated in this awesome weekend that will surely be remembered many years from now as one unforgettable time. We look forward to next time we visit each other and plans for the rental of the party boat on the lake will be in progress soon.

Here's a few random ones I picked off from some point and shoots. As soon as Kwon gets off his lazy a$$ and posts the high res ones on the forum, I can link those as well.
Outside Dave and Busters in Austin, waiting for more to show up who got separated on 2222.

Stupid big donut that is sold in Austin that Ryan (JDM Autosports) had to go and effin get because he's fat.

Ryan (JDM Autosports) trying to finish the donut in one bite.

Ryan (JDM Autosports) rolling shot... sort of.

StrictlyG's on Capitol Hill

Three of us (myself included) standing around Tim's (Blue Dream) polished engine bay.

Meeting up at 6:30 AM to roll to Austin.

On the road to Austin.

Headed towards 2222 as a group.

The beginning of 2222.

Mauricio (MT7rabbit) as middle man on 2222, to avoid anyone getting lost.

I think Kwon (nyckid) took some pictures of everyone's ride while we were there. I'm waiting for his lazy a$$ to get home and load up the pictures. I'll post again once those are uploaded.

Alright, as promised. Here are the first batch of pictures. Apparently he took like 900 pictures and its going to take him awhile to sort through all of them.

That was an amazing weekend. I had a lotta fun. I can't wait for the next one Mauricio! The lakehouse idea sounds like it will be a blast! The 512 Project was cool too, lots of nice cars out there.
