My urge to paint comes and goes. Years back I used to actually sell paintings in galleries. I got busy with work and just lost interest. Every now and then I'll pick up the brush. I always had to be in the mood to paint otherwise I felt like it just didn't look right. I was actually gonna make that one a mixed media piece, having the background printing on a UV printer in black and white. Just never got around to it. Maybe one day.....

Well I started painting again. About half way done. Going pretty fast. This is the 1st of a series of 3 of my girlfriend.

wow, you have great artistic talent. Was an art minor for awhile in college. I enjoyed charcoal/pencil. I sucked at painting/use of color

 

I did watercolor for years then moved to acrylic... way harder since you cant just add water to dilute the color and make it lighter. Every gradient transition has to pretty much be mixed. Never really liked oil painting.. they look too drab to me. Acrylic you can really make pop. The pink of the bra looks amazing in person but its hard to photograph and pick up the color
