tru dat. I hate letting other people do any work on any of my vehicles. My old man used to paint cars so I picked up a few bits of advice from him over the years.

Instead of paying $300 for someone to spray for me I can do it myself for about $60 in materials.

Threw it on the car last night... Looks way better with no sidemarkers. Ill snap some pics in a day or two. Ive still got to spray the borders around the openings flat black and also spray my Ionic grille flat black.

Thats a big area to pave in with kitty hair. Your not afraid of it sinking?

Not trying to be a douche, Im was just wondering why not use a piece of poly and melt it in or use a proper bonding epoxy?

Just the route I decided to go. Ive done the bonding filler piece way before.. had good luck with doing it both ways in the past. I drilled holes in the pocket so the kitty hair went thru the back and locked it in place so it wont be popping out. Car is parked in winter so I dont have to worry about low temperatures and the filler cracking. Ive got faith in my work, Ive done custom widebodies before with metal, fiberglass, and urethane all bonded and filled together and never had cracking/sinking issues.

Super clean, looks awesome. Wish I could do bodywork on my own, decent work around Maryland costs an arm and a leg.

Ya Id like to do body and paintwork for a living but unless you get into a custom shop, body techs dont make sh:t for pay.
