How long is your rig pole? I wouldn't expect the car to fill the frame like that at a 10mm focal length.
It's 10 ft, but i had to mount it with both cups on the windshield. My hood isn't strong enough to support the weight. It doesn't fill frame if I mount the cups on the hood with the pole approx 45 degrees from the front corner of the car. Even at 12mm or so.

You can also try to mount one on the hood and one on the windshield. I've done this on CF hoods before. You'll be able to get the entire car within the frame at about 12 or 13mm.

I did try that with this hood, and there weren't really any solid places to mount the 2nd cup due to the placement of the vents. And in the center, the hood pretty much dents in when any pressure is placed on it. For some reason my hood feels less solid than other cf/fg hoods.

Thanks, yeah it's hard to capture in photos, which is why I've tried taking pics in various times of day to try to show how it looks. In optimal lighting conditions for photos, it looks mostly like a deep dark read with little or no orange.

I just relooked at your hood design. With that vent placement it does make it very tough. The TS design offers barely enough room to mount one cup on the hood and one on the windshield.
