Color matched wheels or just colored wheels in general
this forum is mostly JDM mod oriented, meaning Volk/Work or anything that resembles those two... The guys that are into the type of wheel you got on are super quiet on the boards.
You're about to get a bunch of guys telling you to sell your car, but it is what it is bro, there's different styles in different parts of the world and different parts of the country.
We're all passionate about modding our cars at the end of the day and looking good. So this looks good where you from (assuming Philadelphia or Miami, this exact type of style is very popular in Miami I understand) but in So Cal which is where most of the big dog forum members are from you will not get any kind comments from them.
What's funny is the type of rims I seen guys putting on their G's in Japan are pretty similar to what you got, minus the color accents.

I hear where you are coming from with that. I have seen in lots of threads gold, blue, black and red colored rims on these guys cars so I figured a central thread for the love of painting your wheels would be cool.
I know all to well how some of the forum members can act when they don't "approve" of what someone else did to their ride. For the ones that do it respectfully, more power to them. For the jerks that don't know what to say out of their mouths they can eat it.
IMHO your car is like a canvas, you buy it usually blank and then you add your own personal strokes to it to make it your own. To make it unique and something that you are proud of and that you love. When you love something like that it's only natural to want to share it with others.
I wish SOME of these guys would learn that and be more appreciative of other peoples visions and styles. I am a car lover, coupes, sedans, nissans, fords.... you name it and i love looking at it. I just so happen to love my G more than the others but I still appreciate the other vehicles. I'm a member of like 15 different car forums USA made and abroad and I love looking at and discussing all types of vehicles.
All in all if you have colored wheels and would like to contribute or know of some pics of some and would like to share more power to ya. If not I guess this thread will be kinda empty unless i find or take pics and add to it.

^^ Hey I remember you, you posted images awhile back with your wheel set up and while others didn't agree with your color choice... I know that you looked beyond that and had some questions about getting your wheels flush.
Have you looked into that at all? Judging by the pictures, you have still yet to get any spacers to push them out a bit farther, but I'm just curious to see where you were at on that.

i can dig some color matched wheels as long as its done right. i am not one of the people that thinks you have to have volk or work rims to have a nice car. be different. as long as its a good different.
As far as the spacers go i work just about 7 days a week and havent had the time to get them from my friend. he picked up 20 and 25mm for me. one things for sure i will have them on before the 9/19 GA meet
