Pushing It To The Limit!

Before continuing, vote on the poll and read on.

Decided to test fit my rear wheels (20x11 -12) up front and here are the results. Did it fit? Yes. Is it driveable? Not really. I'd need more of a stretch and I'd be good. I wouldn't run an 11 up front anyway, but at least I know now I can run a 9.5 -30 in the front (maybe 5mm more aggressive once I drop to 19's and lower more). Only modification done to the fender was use a fender finisher.

Gotta work on the rears so I can go more aggressive. Goal is to have a 9.5/10.5 setup with as close to a -30 offset front and rear without going widebody. Maybe I'll stick with a 9/10 -30, gotta figure out stretching. Definitely want as close to a 7" lip rear as possible though and approx a 5.5" in the front (test fitted wheel is a 5.7" lip).

And for those that haven't seen the video I made with a makeshift (ghetto) rig, check it out (and help me earn money on youtube by watching lol). Flapping sound is the fender liner against the wind since I forgot to zip tie it after taking the bumper off to mount the camera.

Sammy, if only I were to keep the 11's up front, but I won't. A 245/30 with Hankook's would probably do it. When I test fit the current fronts they had a 235/35 and fitment was pretty much the same as this. I tried out an Achiles tire 245/30 but it didn't fit, I guess because it ran smaller. Shoulda tried the Hankook 245/30 but didn't wanna risk it and decided to stick with the 235/35 again. Woulda been nice to see for this test fit though.

You could probably pull this off with bags but not static. That first pic actually looks like you are bagged.

I wouldn't do bags, more suspension travel because of air. Would keep it static and custom spring rates (super stiff, in the 20kg's). If the tires are stretched a lil more, it sits just like the driver side. With 19's and more low it would tuck if it was a few mm less aggressive, definitely under 5mm.

Rear looks so weak. With the side shot it makes the fronts seem bigger in diameter too.
