Key is get a compressor that can keep up. I'm just using the cheap HF hvlp gun. Spend the time getting the flow right on a test board and use quality base paint with a clear. The clear lets you sand out your orange peel and other ****. Saves lives when doing it in the garage.

holy shiit. thats a HF hvlp gun? lmao. same one i got. the flow test, what youre looking for is no drip but solid coverage right?

Just even spread and not some weird spray size. Something you can control. Really have to learn how to angle the gun too and use your wrist. Just do a few test runs, it will be worth it in the final product.

using the original bumper would be the simple/smart way to do it
obviously not the the theme for this build

Trying to keep it as light as possible, so that's one of the reasons I made this bumper
