I think gold face and polished lips set it off. But burgundy faces and polished lips would look dope.

 

I'm with Matzo, now that car is white, black faces might wash out the intricacies of the spokes on a vs-xx. I say send the barrels to the chromer for regular chrome and refinish the centers either gold chrome or red chrome for ultra poppage
