New sound system Kicker to JL...Finally!

This was my 1st set-up for less than a week lol....

This pic is the only one I have with amps mounted behind seat & with a different enclosure housing a JL.

My current set-up not completed but getting there...

Cutting the frame out of rear deck for enclosure

Still got some touching up to do on the wrap, seams and such. The grainy *** pix (courtesy of my DroidX) doesn't do it justice so when it's finally finished I'll use the Canon...

No prob, I'll try and get some pix up shortly. Install not to bad, about 2.5 days and the cutting out of the frame that holds the rear deck and of course wrapping all panels to match the wheat interior was the trickiest.

Then we cut out most of the rear deck itself so the top of the enclosure would be flush and the W7 and port had room to breathe to do its thing. Cut-out was wrapped in black breathable fabric the same as you see on floor panel with JL logo in trunk. This type of fabric hides the amps with only seeing the power lights while still dissipating heat up and out. Have a 5" Stinger 105CFM .6a fan helping keep equipment cool.

Night and day trunk to cabin B4 you could hear the bass in-cabin but didn't care for the rattle outside. Now bass waves just roll off the glass into cabin & not trunk. I can hear & feel with less Gain &/or db.

I was quiet surprised with a volume of 25 (or 55%) on Z130, Kicker750 = Gain 35%, db-0, tuned around 60hz. Alpine300 = Gain 0.5v%, HP on, XO 150hz on all 4-Channels & it maxed the meter at 126 Sounds like the perfect reason/time to go buy 1 w/ a little more uummfff lol !!
