Fall shots
Stopped and took a few photos the other day. The leaves were dropping like crazy so I figured it was a good time to take some snaps.
I don't know a whole lot about my camera yet, still learning and playing with the settings. I wish I could bring out more clarity. I'm still using the Canon EFS18-55mm lens it came with. I also downloaded the PS CS5 demo so I was playing with a few of the features in that as well. I didnt spend a lot of time in PS CS5 though, mainly to bring colors out and reframe.

Fall colors are really pretty, and back country roads that get covered in them can be fun to just puts around on and look at the scenery. Unfortunately the leaves also make a mess of everything and are a pain in the butt to get cleaned up.
I'm actually on R&R leave from Iraq right now and it seems I picked the best time to come home. Leaves were changing like crazy and the weather was beautiful enough to get the car and bike out for some good cruises. Unfortunately I head back to the sandbox in the morning.

Pics look great! Where in mn are you? I just got back from a customer visit up in international falls and damn is it pretty up there..... A little too cold too early for my tastes tho. Tho I am thinking about going back for some ice fishing, lol.
Looks to me that you just need to open up the apature on your lens more..... Maybe F8 or F11. If that causes your shutter speed to be too slow use a tripod or up your ISO a bit.
