My first non-VQ motor since Jan. 2005

2004 G35 Coupe...2010 40th Anniversary 370Z...now a 2006 Viper SRT-10 coupe! After all the drama I went through with my Z, there was light at the end of the tunnel...I upgraded/downgraded at the same time to something insanely fun! Photoshoot to come soon I bought the car Friday, bought an intake last night, and installed it this morning. I am ADDICTED to modifying

I can't stop smiling about this car. The only word I can use to describe it is RAW. It's hot, plasticy, it shakes, it rattles, no features...but it is FUN!!!

Lunch at Hooters with a few 370Z guys before heading to the dealer to get rid of the Z

Bitter sweet ending...

It's official!

In the garage for the first time

No joke, aside from the middle poster that I got when I visited the Connor Ave assmebly plant when I was 15, those posters are from book fairs when I was in elementary school! I put them up in my gargae back in December or January for motivation...

My turbo from the Z...mmm

My first cruise. We went to a little get together at Ferrari Tampa Bay, grabbed some breakfast, and then went for a cruise to the beach...'02 996TT with the X50 package and straight pipes, '07 997TT with a TechArt body and numerous other mods, and mine . I can finally "fit in" with my friends.

Very sick indeed. What was wrong with the 370z besides the fender bender?

The turbo kit had problems from day one due to Lutz Performance not knowing what they were doing. The car ran like crap and overheated all the time. Then I finally fixed all their problems and went to the drag strip. On my 3rd pass, the motor started ticking. I was 2 days away from writing a check for a built motor, but that's when someone backed into my bumper. That's when I decided I had enough...

I went to buy a Viper a few years ago, I drove it and have never been so disappointed in my life. I hope you enjoy it but I think it is a huge down grade from what you had
They do look and sound good that's where it ended for me....strap a Kenne bell on it

Cant go wrong with a viper man. The v10 sound def matches the looks of the viper. Have you seen the new one? OMG

I agree that it is somewhat of a downgrade from the Z in some aspects, but the car was my dream car as a kid. So far, it's put a smile on my face every time and that's what matters. Its just a beast. What year were you looking at? How's the G doing?

The new one is leaps and bounds above what mine has to offer...hopefully one day.

It sure is a big boy. It feels heavy compared to my Z, although its about 80lbs lighter.
