Shaved radiator support finally done

Just need to finish up color matching the battery covers and wiper cowl. The car is extremely dirty, I haven't washed it once this year. It's been sitting in my garage the whole winter then started with the whole tear down with shaving the radiator support and doing the full wire tuck. The car has been under the knife for a long time and I'm happy it's atleast this far into this build. I still have some tweeks here and there to take care of in the bay but so far im happy with the outcome. A full build thread is soon to come.

I made custom brackets on the side so it doesn't move.

What are your plans for the different color strut bar brackets?

Not really sure to be honest. It was more of a "you won't paint all those pieces different colors" remark and I said watch me lol. Then after I looked at it when it was done I kinda liked the whole "crayola box" theme so I kept it.

I think that you are having some good progress so maybe stick to a theme color to take it to the next level. Maybe even color matched to the baterry covers.

Looks great! Before painting the radiator support, Did you remove the radiator support entirely or did you remove the headlights, grille and bumper? I'm looking to paint mine but I'm not sure if a body shop will be able to spray the radiator support while still installed on my car..

I took the whole radiator support out the car. I was in the process of doing a full wire tuck so I said fu@k it shaving the support was always something I wanted to do so I started it while finishing up the tuck. I had about 4 different projects on my at once at that time

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'm so tired of the cheap composite look, been wanting to paint the radiator support for years now. Think I'll do the same approach as you and remove the support entirely.
