Will these LEDs drain my battery?

Map light LEDs installed and when off they continue to give off a little hue of light. Will my battery die out quickly?

That looks super dim to be draining out your battery any time soon. But it would annoy me enough to swap it out.

But I don't think they should be glowing like that unless theres parasitic power getting to them. Have u tested the voltage at the contacts when off?

They all do it, there is voltage there even with incandescent bulbs.

They must be super sensitive LED's then. I have LED's too and they dont do that. Not even in my previous cars.

I highly doubt it and it would probably take a VERY long time. They current draw on those is minuscule most likely.

I'd just be more annoyed than anything. Almost all LEDs do this even the home replacement ones. It picks up the tiniest amount of current flow.

Mine don't do that on any of them and I've replaced every interior bulb with LEDs. OP I responded in another thread to this but I'll repeat myself here. Pull the bulbs, flip them 180* and re-install. Some LEDs are fickle about their orientation.

I did and that's why I added my experience. I changed out my interior bulbs with LED's over 7 years ago and they have never given off any light unless they were turned on, maybe I'm just lucky.
