Thanks.At the time these pictures were taken I had six months into the project.All the work was done by myself,except 90 % paint & upolstory had done by someone else,but I did all the removal & install.Sorry for the guys who don't like the tail lights,everybody has their own opinion.They just give it a different look,without the color match,it was just too much red.IMO it looks more jdm GTR style.As far as rebadging,G35's are Skyline's in the true since.In their homeland they come off the assembly line as Nissan Skyline 350GT's.Infiniti is just an American marketing name,just like Acura & Lexus.The name's Infiniti,Acura & lexus do not exist in Japan.JDM rebadging maybe just more popular in California,so others just might not understand it.

 

But our cars are built to US specifications as far as emissions, bumper regulations, drive, etc. 98% of the car may be identical to the Skyline, but our cars are in fact different, and are Infinitis. That's my only point. It's like a less extreme version of putting a Type R badge on your Honda.

I'm all for the visual upgrades (lights, wheels, whatever), I'm just not a fan of incorrect badging or badge removal. Again, just my opinion, though I know many who share it.

 

I like JDM badging...but thats mainly cuz I like JDM anything. Music, comics, videos, etc... The only thing I don't care for is when people mix and match, like Infiniti Skyline or Nissan G35. Do it all or nothing. Obviously, there's a point where its totally not practical, like re-doing the leather seats, moving steering wheel to the right, etc..., but I think if you're going to go Skyline, it looks more clean and JDM if you spend the extra $20 or so and do the Nissan emblems as well. But then again, everyone has their own taste. You all paid for your own car, you're allowed to do whatever you want with it.

Like the look FortyTwo. The nismo wing really goes well with the kit. It would probably look a little weird just by itself. Keep up the good work.
