It took me less than a roll. And this is the 2nd time I did it and I'd do it only when I take long road trip which happens once every like 4-5 months. A couple of bucks for the roll for some protection, makes sense to me. I'm sure as my car gets older and gets more "worn" then I wont care as much...but for right now its pretty new and trying to keep it that way for a while.
I got a new bra for christmas. Why don't you get one? Only costs about $85-$125 bucks right?
Putting tape on your car like that is like putting a paper bag on your head with eye hole cut outs cz you are too cheap for sun screen.
Good idea though.

LOL!!
I think the tape idea is good for driving on the highwasys for long trips or to shows, etc. When you get there u can just peel it off or whatever. Thats if you don't have clear bra. I don't see anything wrong with it for a long trip. Now if your riding around like that on the reg. then you gots issues. Nice job with the tape work.

Nice, i did the same thing for my xmas trip from San Diego to San Fransisco, it definitely prevented some rock trips from all the semi's throwing **** all over the road. I had to re-apply when i stopped because it was starting to peel off a little on the highway. I wish they made a bra that would go over the OEM lip too.
