Pics of my first Mod

my Injen CAI

so happy with it!!








first two are prior the intake
last two are after the intake.. can someone explain what it means?

i got the same intake, Injen Cold Air Intake, I love it, its extremely loud after 4,000K RPMS, LOVE IT!

mine has a sick sound at 1-2,000 range (only can be heard on the outside tho)

and 5,000+ it starts sounding REALLY MEAN
like I was revving it in front of my frined's appt building
and this guy comes out to see wtf was going on...
he is like "WTF"
I was like "Injen babeh!"
lol

for those who missed it (dunno why)


I set it up high cuz my shield isnt in yet...
going to move it low later on...

the pix are in reverse order :P my bad

i'm a little confused too...did u just use the filter and a generic adapter plate or did u get the actual CAI by Injen? it should look like this

i don't think thats a CAI its more like an SRI but i never seen it before. put that heat sheild up u should be alright

You should replace the OEM intake tube, if you haven't already done so. It looks a bit confusing.

the mechanic didnt use the super long tube (cuz I'm getting the Z-tube)
but I do have all those parts
I guess they arent very visible in the pix I took

not too sure what he did
but he did a good job as far as I can tell.. it has better response
I had it done at Infiniti.. and I still have my full warranty
