Yea, I call bullshit on the phone....
Still being worked on at the moment. It's the same set I got in 2010 and then had powder coated for the black and bronze look (but came out more brownze) that I was never quite happy with.

It was a powdercoating called "US Golden Bronze." I had to pick it off a swatch since it's not a commonly stocked color. The Work bronze is an anodized finish so it's very hard to duplicate, but yeah that's what I was trying to do and it was just never quite right.
I was mad at the wheels from the very beginning though, they were supposed to be step lips but the order wasn't handled right somewhere along the line and then the powder wasn't quite right (although the labor piece was perfect).
The last straw was dropping them off to be refinished for a trade that the other guy backed out of after they had already been prepped so the finish was ruined at that point.
Time to sell them and fund the engine build. They're great wheels, I've just had a combination of annoyances that are letting me know I don't need two sets of Works at the house.

And.. Good luck with sale OBsessed. I'm pretty sure to get the bronze lip equivalent in powder is to lay down a translucent color over chrome or polish
