I believe atleast 3 maybe 4 coats. took little time because it was pretty hot out that day.... post pic or response saying how it turned out. 1 can from homedepot would work, but get a 2nd in case

Hopefully I'll have a daily driver next year and Pegasus can relax until I decide to take him for a spin.

^^^ Yea tell me about it! I just washed & waxed my OB then came outside in 2hrs run my fingers on the rear bumper & dust city! For some reason i never get bombed by those dreadful birds though not like my white GS430 haha

U could be charging the wax when u apply it.

Charged = static. Black cars are bad enough for showing dust, but 20x worse after you wax. If you use microfiber to remove the wax it you probably have a ton of static.

I always rinse my car after waxing & dry it with an absorber which removes most of the static electricity.

Yep from the rubbing can cause static.

Wow so after wash & wax then you have to rinse it again with just pure water to remove static and use non microfiber towels to dry? Why the hell did I buy OB color G that's double work

Just a rinse & dry. Part of the joy in owning OB. If you don't have the time use a spray bottle/water.
