perhaps you haven't had enough of your sportscar phase to "progress" to higher luxury like the G35c. i came from a 4th gen maxima which ran 14 flat in the 1/4mi. my dad drives a WRX and i have a widebody/caged 350whp GT25R powered S13 for drifting and racing. having experienced those cars i can say the G35C is definately a step up in refinement and i would never go back lol. judging from all your racing posts, your personality suits the evo rather than the G. i personally would prefer about 20-30 more hp, +4mpg and better footwork and braking for my 05C without the car feeling and sounding like a "tuner" car.

The evo kicks *** in the power and performance department. If you can bare the lack luster interior and soso exterior. More power to you. I got a buddy out here who has a drop in intake, down pipe, exhaust and ecu tune and hes putting down consistent 12.5s. I might even get an evo. Maybe a Evo X. Hopefully they redesign the interior.

Can you do a nice write-up of the evo and g35 comparo since you have owned both cars? Really eager to see what the differences are besides performance/luxury.

Im not good at writing but Ill just make it quick and simple

Evo is definately faster stock but not instant power due to a lil turbo lag

Gas mileage is around the same, but the evo eats more gas if you get on it

It takes 10 bucks to get half a tank of gas, where as the G35 costs $20

Evo has way better light output from the headlights, the HIDs are really nice and the cut off is sick with a white, blue and purple cut off line. Also The Evo has a switch to adjust headlights/cutoff in about 5 different height adjusments.

EVo really has no luxury, besides power windows and keyless door locks it has no cruise control, power seats, or heated seats etc, I already miss the lazy controls on the steering wheel for the stereo.

Less room in the Evo

Nicer seats in the Evo MR (suede and leather)

The interior looks alot more sporty with the carbon fiber trim, ebrake handle, and stock momo steering wheel.

I have been debating over this for a while too.
I have a Turbonetics G35.. and still nothing beats an Evo.

Yea you can fight with your luxury and customer service all you want..
Power will always > Luxury unless you're a 30+ yr old guy that needs the look of a more mature car. I would care less about customer service since I haven't even brought my G into service since I've owned it.. (just like my other cars). If it breaks, replace it with something better.

The Evo is insane, I took one out.. The balance and insane control the Evo has obviously shows up the G. The AWD and cheap mods will always beat the G. I'm just sitting here kicking myself for dropping 15+K into a G and wondering what I could have done with an Evo!

You guys can whine and question him all your want. It boils down to personal needs. Some people here just think the G owns everything on the road, because it has cruise control and buttons on the steering wheel. I understand someone of you love the car alot, I can't park my car overnight on the street. The Evo would be perfect, cheaper mods and I can beat the living crap out of it.

It's obvious that the threadstarter hasn't gotten through his fast car stage, which is awesome. Everyone HAS to experience the speed before getting into the old man's car!
