I was so close to buying a ZCoupe a couple years ago (not an M). They are definitely a purpose-built vehicle. The plastic doorhandles are a giveaway (also a turn-off if you're like me).

Did you notice about halfway through it... theyre on the highway, they exit right and drift, then take these more residential streets—then they get BACK on the highway at the entrance before the previous exit. They did a huge loop.

The on/off-ramp drifting is ridiculous.

 

That gives a whole new meaning to the term "drive it like you stole it".
