Just FYI. With the way my skills have improved and how I've upgraded my equipment, I've changed the pricing on my website.

www.ob-photo.com

I feel that the price is fair and that my work backs it up. If I already have an arrangement with you, it doesn't apply. I think it's a great deal for people I've already shot though. Thanks for all the support everyone.

I used to shoot with a Canon Powershot S2IS (Point-and-Shoot) and now I'm using Canon Digital Rebel XT (DSLR)

Im thinking about buying the camera that you used before the new one. With you being so far away I dout that you'll be able to come down this way. Maybe you can give a few tips to a few of us that want to try on our own? Thanks for any bit of info! Steve

Well for starters, I'm going to be selling my S2IS real soon so you can get a great deal on that from me. But in regards to the S2IS. The best advice I can give is read through the manual and use the camera a lot. If you don't want to read through the whole manual, just skim through the parts that interest you. It's a great camera and it has an awesome zoom. Get used to shooting in manual mode and the transition to an SLR will be that much easier.

Yes sir. I'm not very happy with the lens that came with the camera though. The range is horrible and it's a little too soft for my taste. Not bad to start out with though. If you look at my gallery, the first 6 rows from the top are with the Rebel. I purchased it at Costco for $799 and then I bought a 1G CF card. All in all, after taxes it was about $961.

Right on. Yea, I've heard good things about the D50. In fact, I would've bought that one if it wasn't for Costco's excellent return policy All they had was the Rebel.

I was in San Diego this weekend and I was able to shoot G35pm while I was there. I was able to do some recon before and I found lot's of cool settings for the dayshoot. Unfortunately the cool places to shoot at night were few and far between. Stay tuned for G35pm's night shots. Here's a few of my favs to tide you guys over until he starts his thread.

Couple more on my website www.ob-photo.com
