I felt that the pictures above do a good job mirroring the before and after.

The car does look cleaner without the guards, but I think it looks a little more aggressive with them installed. Of course, everyone is entitled to there own opinion. Thats what makes the G35 so great, there are so many options people can go with.

I had the dealer install them yesterday. It took them just under an hour. I did notice that each splash guard has 2 screws and there is double sided tape inside each of the them. I didn't want to run the risk of the splash guards not adhering to the car properly, so I let the dealer do it. I got 10% off the 1hr. of labor because I purchased the car there.

The installation is not that hard, but it is easy to have the car lifted so you can drill and screw. You should not wash your car for a day after the installation so you can let the adhesive bond. The instruction are in the box as well. I got my front and rear for $100 from my brother which works at the dealer.

So far I've noticed less water hitting the doors and rear bumper from the splash guards. They are working.

can someone verify that the 06 splash guards are redesigned compared to the 03-05 model??? because they look exactly the same to me. i'm considering adding them on, but i want to know if they will fit onto the previous 03-05 coupe body???

I'd say it looks cleaner without them but I'm glad mine came with them installed. They look pretty good and are very effective at keeping crap from your tires from chewing up the paint. A worth while investment if you don't have them.

The fronts and rears have been redesigned and are specifically made for the 06 with sport package. There are new part numbers for both front and rear. You can easily see the difference on the front splash guards. The rear splash guards are different too though, they have more of an angle to them than the previous model years.

To be safe I'd check with the dealership. But if I'd take a guess, I'd say probably not.
