rmquake -- hmm - very interesting info. i do know that the part numbers are different - but where exactly is the steeper angle?? if you don't mind, would you mind describing it, or posting a pic with an arrow??

there are quite a few ppl on this board (incl myself) that have installed the 05 rear splash guard on the 06 sport, and it fits absolutely perfectly. I dont see any reason why the 06 part wouldn't fit on a pre-06 car since the rear bumper is exactly the same...

any info appreciated.

Giarc,

No problem. Here's a closeup photo with an arrow of the rear splash guard. The difference is minimal, but it appears there is a little bit more arc on the new guard. If you want, you should also check out a post from a guy named JustJ over at 6mt.net He went down to the dealership with the part numbers I gave him and got confirmation that there was difference. Here's a link to that post http://www.6mt.net/forum/showthread....673#post451673

Also, you can check chad@infinitispecialists post here https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-coupe-v35-2003-07/92494-2006-g35-coupe-splash-guards-sport-model.html

Finally, you can check G35parts.com. They're running a sale on them. They also have a disclaimer that reads "Note: These are new, updated parts specifically for the 2006 Sport model coupe. They will not fit on a 2006 non-sport model coupe or an 03-05 model." There link is http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=363

I installed my 05 rear splash guard. I think the front set are a little different so i didn't put them in. I believe the rear set are the same.

New G35 Coupe owner.....This thread is a big help. I just ordered a G35 DG [pick it up first weekend in August] and I got the front/rear splash guards but, I wasn't sure I wanted them on the car. After seeing the with vs. w/o pics, I think I'm glad I got them now. Thanx for posting such thorough pics of the car!

Thank you for the before and after pics. I wasn't sure if it was worth the money but they really do look much better. I am going to get me some too!

LOL, the guy actually searched and found information that is still relevant to him and you chastise him.

If he had created a new thread and simply asked without searching, 99% of the forum would be calling him a n00b and yelling at him to use the search button.

Jeez.
