Because I got it slightly molded to the body with some very durable yet plyable urethane. I don't like harsh cuts and lines with lip kits so I went this route (I have replacement front, rear, and the sides were actually taken off to be sprayed).

To answer a few other questions:

I paid $799 for the kit from Automotivemods who is still on the board somewhere.

I can get a picture of the side skirts with the door open but it just looks stock. I know what you are thinking (I saw the pics of some people who had them rivited to the sides) but mine were cut and fused to the body with urethane to ensure a stock look.

I actually brought the car to Infiniti this afternoon and everyone just thought the sides were stock. They were asking if the front and rear were some sort of stock add-on that they didn't know about (stupid dealerships).

came out great.........the drop is perfect, ings kit looks great on black, and the grille tops it all off.........good work, def look into some wheels asap, some DPE's would set it off

Although I'm not a big fan of Ings kit as a whole, I love Ings kit on black. Great work!
