TS M35 Drift Car

Admittedly I haven’t; read the entire "Project M35"section... but I thought I would shared a very unique M35 project that I saw... Technosquare has an M35 at their shop that they intend to make a drift car It's completely gutted (interior)... and they recently installed a 350Z manual transmision

Unfortunately it has been a project in the works for over a year so who knows what it will become - but an M35 with MT??? much less with enough power to be a drift car?????!!!!!!!

I'm sure if they're going to the extent of installing the 350z manual tranny.. I think they could come up with a little more ponies than stock

for sure!!!! I asked Tadashi how they intend to drift a boat like that... response: "with enough power, any car can drift".... it is a good project car!!! I am excited to see if it will happen... apparently it has taken a back-seat though

If Taniguchi can build his GS to drift.. I'm pretty sure it'll be easy to get a M35 to drift. They're both boats. Well of course.. Taniguchi has a 2jz in it if i remember correctly. So that'd be pretty dope if the M will have an RB in it.. heh heh heh

they have excellent connections in Japan - and a great reputation for tuning of course... they can do it (if time permits)...

Very side-note... they were working on a Corvette - built motor and supercharger - two visits ago... I was flabbergasted that they would have a domestic in their shop... it was a family friend project - some kid wanted a Vette drift car

I don’t mind they put the M drift on the back-burner… they have more important things to do like tune my ECU and install my Quaife and 3.7 gears

I’m not a drift fan – but I’d like to see this M do something unique… kinda like the US Hockey team “Miracle on Ice”… weird analogy I know but you get it – not expecting superb results and having it blow everyone’s mind!!!

Of course this all needs to wait till my projects are done

The M35 is being build for Yoshie to drive. And yes its been in the works for a while. Shouldnt be a problem, its big and heavy but as you can see the GS300 worked out well.

Bear in mind Team Lexus was running the GS300 as their Grand Am chassis until they opted to go with the IS300 platform. This was merely for marketing reasons as rumor has it that the GS handled better than the IS.

Yea, if the GS can do it, so can the M. I'd like to see them both on the same track. That would be pretty sick.

Of which? The TS M35?... last time I saw it was a dust bucket completely gutted interior (other than the 350Z shifter for the MT)... not much of a picture... I hope they get some progress on it though. I will be have 3.7 gears and Quaife installed by them at some point - I'll take pics at that time...
