2015 q60?
I cant disagree with you. If a company used a pretty word to desribe their product 10 years ago, that is what it is forever. Who am I to quesiton their marketing department. This Samsung TV was marketed as advanced picture, high-definition, ultra slim bezel so that must still be what it is still.

ur narrow mind is still stuck on the idea that function is the sole determinant of whether or not something can be looked at as luxury. if there was a luxury brand for tvs and it had that's luxury brand company's insignia then itll probably still be perceived as a luxury item no matter how old it is.
In the 50s RCA was the premeir luxury TV brand. I guess they must still be perceived as luxury today no matter how old they are right? Also Samsung IS the current luxury brand, that is why I specifically chose that TV from 2004. 10 years later, you still think that TV is luxury?
I don't recall electronics companies that are marketed as a luxury brand . does that even exist? there were either only expensive tvs and less expensive tvs. which all brands offer. Samsung has expensive tvs and less expensive tvs. I don't recall Samsung marketing itself as a luxury brand. u making this **** up as u go?

Its also pretty funny how you claim not to be a badge chaser but you own an Infiniti, a land rover and a Harley. You tell in me you didnt buy that Harley cuz that's the "image" you want to portray? Haha then why not a Honda shadow? A Kawasaki? They are ffaaarr and beyond more reliable than a Harley. You wanted that badge tho huh?
And Lincoln is a luxury brand BTW.

Uhm, considering that most cable networks film in 720p, that is still "high def". Its a high definition TV as compared to a CRT. It doesn't say, "high definition compared to technology that will come out 20 years from now. Technologies that still won't be used to their actual capabilities". No, high def is a standard that's above that of a CRT solid state TV. Why is it that YOURE the only one who doesn't get this?

I dont own an Infiniti any more. I bought my RR because I liked the style, features and how it drove. Features that it has were not available on most other SUVs. I bought my Harley because the vrod is the middle ground between sport bike and cruiser. All my previous bikes were crotch rockets, I wanted the comfort of a cruiser and the speed of a sport bike. At the time the vrod was the 2nd best in that category behind the Diavel. The Diavel cost twice as much, so I bought the Vrod. Also my Harley doesnt say harley even once anywhere on the bike. I removed all elmeblms and repainted it. I bought it for power and comfort, not the name. Keep trying kiddos.
Again, only fools buy a vehicle simply for name.
Uhm considering many are already broadcasting in 1080p as are many movies. 720p is no longer considered high def.

And yes 720p is still considered high def, tard.
Alright, so by your theory you're telling me that my 2004 Less Paul that cost about $2k in 04 is no longer a luxury guitar simply because it doesn't have coil tap ability or come with locking tuners like the ones of today? 2 "luxury" items that I don't even want or have a use for, but because now its "upgraded" my old guitar (that I could sell now for more than I bought it for BTW) is just an old teenager-worthy guitar? If luxury is truly subjective like you say (which it is) how can you tell anyone whether or not the G is a luxury car? Do you know what subjective means? It means you aren't allowed to tell someone else their opinion. It doesn't work both ways, son.
If your subjective opinion is that it is not luxury, then that's fine, but you are not allowed to OBJECTIVELY state that its not. You use your opinion as if its fact, which it is not, kiddo.
