Im so glad we dont have any test like this in MS, they dont even look under your car to see if you have cats

 

I failed 3 times with high NOx and CO...had busted cats, replaced with used cats I bought from a guy here for $150 bucks and passed... Before that used guranteed to pass, Seafoam...none of that worked.

 

Easy way to pass smog is to not have to pass. Depending on where you live a county that doesn't require a smog is a few hours drive at most.. Drive to one of these counties. rent a mail box (must be private mail box, NOT a US Mail "PO" box. A private mail box will have a regular street address, The DMV will not accept a PO box as a Change of address. Tell the DMV you moved to new address. Good by smog. Still have to get a smog on change of ownership, after that you're good to go!! You can now put a rocket engine in your G if you want.

 

Actually, thanks to a relatively new service (I've had it for a couple-few years), you can register a USPS box to use the street address. Just go up to the counter and ask them about it. Fill out a form, you are golden. They will even accept UPS deliveries and hold the package for you!

 

Not saying that isnt true, but the reason they didnt accept po boxes was to keep people from doing what Im doing. Just doesnt make sense. Unless they have another way to know you dont live in that county....
