Altered Atmosphere Angled Plenum Spacer

I had Altered Atmosphere install their angled plenum spacer in. I have to say that they were very knowledgeable and professional. Mike was kind enough to educate me what can be done to enhance the performance of my car. Work was done under an hour. I definitely feel the extra horsepower and torque. I know that it may not be a lot of power but it's definitely significant. The G also pulls a lot better at higher RPM and the engine sounds slightly deeper. Definitely worth the money for the power and the peace of mind that an ASE cert. mechanic completed the work. Jason gave me a tour of their facility and showed me a couple of the cars that they were working on. I'll definitely be back for the ECU Flash.

Sounds like you guys are all local, check out the National G Club forum under clubs sections. I have the motordyne spacer since I got it when they first made it. I'd suggest shopping around for the MD spacer since I don't think the AA spacer is that cheap. And definitely install it yourself or have somebody in NGC help you. Unless AA is installing for free, take the time to do the simple DIY install. Let me know if you guys get a GB on the flash, I've been leaning towards doing that or UTEC.

note : I'm not trying to hate on AA or their spacer, just pointing out other options

I don't know what mods everybody has, but i get the impression you guys are fairly new and have few mods. I'd suggest holding off on the flash until you have more mod to benefit from the flash. Just a thought.

^^+1

A flash is great, im getting mine through aam once my supercharger is installed and the SC is the last of my performance mods, ever. If this is your first or second mod, i would think about waiting a while cause if you decide to keep modding your just going to have to get another flash. Research the flash alittle more.

Good luck with everything

Exhaust improvements seem to be the real kicker for an ECU flash. Not to say there would not be some benefit with intake changes. Opening the throttle plate fully at WOT and raising the rev limit beyond stock a few hundred are a couple of good ones. But most don't want to have to pay for 2 flashes (before and after exhaust).
