OCG35 will be getting 3.7's on his AT.

Going from the stock 3.3 to 3.9 is unheard of for AT's.

I think it's an excellent mod for an AT.

How did you account for the odo/speedo being 10% off - new gear, ecu reflash, etc....?

Speedometer is not going to be 10% off. That has nothing to do with it.

And I don't see how an ECU reflash would be beneficial toward the new FD.

if the gearing is changed the speedo/odo isn't going to be right anymore.....I know some cars, for example, need a new speedo gear or else the speedo/odo will be off

I went with 4.10s in my mustang, never bothered to reflash the ecu, and was off by like 15%

I might be wrong, but I've never heard of that. Either way, your RPM meter should be correct.

The speed is taken from sensors at the wheels, so it will stay correct for this car.

+1 Loss of cruise-control seems to be the main negative associated with this.

And I thought I remember reading a post from a member who went with the 3.9 in his AT... ...and I thought he had swapped to the 3.7 prior to that. Might be worth some searching to see what the prefference was.

Actually I didn't lose my cruise control - still works fine. I think this may be a problem only for 5AT drivers.

Aaron (arazonag35coupe), I am glad you are still enjoying your gear change, let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. I have a Nismo clutch (and flywheel) in stock, I can give you a great deal on it and the install. Lemme know..........

I've heard of it.

Feel it too, everytime I get in the car.
