Nismo CAI

Mod: Nismo Cold Air Intake
$: 270
DIY: yes
Difficulty: Easy
Time to install: 1 hour
Overall value: 5/5
Review: This is a really easy mod to do yourself. After putting it in, I really noticed a change in the sound. Everytime I'm on the road, I can't get enough of the sucking noise the intake makes. My exhaust note is slightly deeper, and the noise from the engine bay is slightly louder at WOT. During normal driving, the sound is the same as the stock box, however you can still hear the intake sucking in air depending how hard you're on the throttle. This intake also comes with a bypass valve so there is no worrying about hydrolocking. Note: This is to those that removed the styrofoam and plastic that resides behind the bumper. Just becareful when you are driving in the rain because the intake is completely exposed to the rain. However, if you keep these two pieces in, things are fine. I have driven my car in heavy rain and so far so good.
