Review on Russell Performance Clamps?

Does anyone have any experience with these Russell Performance tube hose clamps?

http://www.russellperformance.com/mc...ube_seal.shtml

Russell is owned by Edelbrock, which is a pretty reputable company

Marcus, Sean and the rest of the engine bay fanatics, please chime in

Those are just standard worm clamps with aluminum covers. They will get the job done and look nicer than the bare clamps. There are a few companies that make nicer looking ones but I cant think of any specific names. Maybe Earl's. I prefer just to use a nice polished t-bolt clamp.

Got your PM on this, just now getting back to my computer. I agree with Sean, those will work, but there are nicer looking ones. All of the clamps in my and some of the other highly moddded engine bays on here are Earl's.

Thanks for the help guys!

Marcus, are these the Earls clamps you're using

http://www.jegs.com/p/Earls/Earls-Ec...49432/10002/-1

They seem to be similar to the Russells clamps but just a bit more expensive

More specifically, i'm looking for advice on clamps to use with a new Samco or Z1 hoses

Yes I'm using the Earl's econo fit clamps. Earl's stuff is top notch, but you can go with cheaper stuff you'll be fine. I'm pretty OCD about my engine bay and I'd pass on the Russell ones soley based on the fact that I don't like the way they stamped their logo on the clamp...LOL.

LOL, sounds good, plus the Earls econo fit clamps don't seem like they're fully slip on while the Russells are...so Earls is prob cleaner and more secure
