MA
A year ago I bought the Z tube and K&N filter. I installed the Ztube right away. But I didn't get around to putting in the K&N Filter until yesterday. The filter is definitely worth it. My car was feeling a little funny but when I replaced with the K&N filter the car seemed smoother. At idle the car shook less. Maybe because it's getting more air that it needs.

Agree z-tube K&N is worth it. Although I'm getting a Injen CAI at end of this week for a smokin deal. If anyone wants my z-tube and K&N will let go for $85 plus shipping or p/u in So Cal.. I think I paid about $120 for both about 2 months ago. PM me if interested, can take paypal.

Is the sound going to be more "throaty"?

Will it help with gas mileage?
Yes it will. I did my mods in the smae order as you. K&N changed sound slightly but the real difference (throaty) came with the Z tube. I am very happy with both.

Pop Charger/Z-Tube Combo w/ JWT Recharge Filter oil ......

Will this void the factory bumper to bumper warranty?

I'm not familiar with these mods could you tell me why getting a Injen CAI would mean you would trade in your Z Tube and K&N Air Filter?

I may be wrong, but if you get the CAI your would be eliminating the Z tube. The CAI usually connects to the intake manifold.
