DC Headers and ACT/Nismo installed

FYI,
I had my SS DC headers installed on my FI G-coupe
along with the ACT spreet strip and the nismo lightend flywheel
And I have to say the sound level pretty much stayed the same
but I noticed more pull top end. I have to say I don't like the
chatter the flywheel makes though
But it does rev-up a lil quicker.

Well you can hear it a tiny bit at Idle, But you can really heaar it if you are trying to feather the clutch at low RPM. Kinda makes the same sound when you almost stall a motor with the stock clutch. Ya know what I mean?

yeah. I've heard you can still slip like stock, but you gotta rev a little more to get rid of the chatter.
glad your mods freed up more up top tho.

What about the clutch?
I have an ACT HDSS clutch sitting right next to me waiting to be installed. I don't know of anyone who has this particular clutch--it is updated from the original HD00 design for better performance.
Is this the same clutch you have?
If so, please give a review: where is the engagement point, how does the pedal effort feel, etc.

Yes I just installed the same one.
Pedal engagement is a lil tiny bit lower than stock.
Pedal effort feels just as easy as stock, In fact I don't know if im just loosing my mind but, it almost feels easier than stock.
The only draw back is that this clutch wants to be either all on or all off.
Meaning this sucker wants to engage as you are trying to feather it.
Makes you look like you don't know how to drive a stick at low RMP's
It feels jerky out of first gear because the clutch is trying to grab.
Bottom line is I love it so far. The bang into first gear is just as good going into 5th gear, nice and solid "NO MORE SLIPAGE"

I can't wait to get my ACT installed.
I spent a lot of time researching clutches before making this decision and this unit seemed to be the best bang for the buck all the way around.
BTW--ACT is coming out with their lightened flywheel for the G in August.
