RE Short Shifter on 05 MT Coupe

I just installed my RE SS yesterday. While installing, it felt like it wouldnt fit right but ended up being just fine. I got an extra shifter cup, so the install wasnt that hard at all. As far as the shifter goes, the shifts are much easier now, feels like i will never miss a shift again. its really easy to shift in to every gear. the only downside is that the vibrations are about 2-3 times as much. way more then stock and the only reason i got this shifter was because some one told me it would get rid of the stock vibrations. ofcourse the nice shifts is an added plus but the vibrations was the main reason. I think I am gonna put my stock one back in, since it has less vibrations. unless i did something wrong during the install, ofcourse ill check that again too. but if you want nice crispy shifts, this thing is awesome. btw it only vibrates alot during highspeeds on the highway, in normal driving its not bad.

Modified: I take that back about the vibrations.... my shifterknob wasnt on as tight, so not many vibrations untill past 5krpm, plus weird noise when on high rpms, other then that its great

escobar - His increased vibrations were due to a loose shift ****.

Superman - I'll definately post impressions after the install. Hopefully I'll get to it real soon... ...along with my other mods. I'm still under 200 miles, so I'm just enjoying a little OEM time before I begin my mods.
