"Great" info. and review !
But here's a " couple" for you:
1.) Do you have an AT or MT G ?
2.) What gear-ration are you running ?

Thanks again for "all" info. !!

i should have all parts by this week but i cant start thr install process until late this month because of bar exam. But ill be sure to let u kno how it goes. Btw the 3.7 was an easy choice for me- reasonable cost, oem quality and not too agressive sime i do a fair amount of highway driving and dont get that good mpg as it is. I slso heard that the 07 sedans employ the 3.7, but i have not had anyone verify this for sure or not.

technosquare will do the work. My dealership won't touch the inside of the pumpkin. It takes an experienced tech to install properly with correct shims so there is no gear whine

Johnny,
I didn't know that Technosquare did Differential set-up.
That's really "great" news, since I am very really close to their shop.
When I get my Diff., I may also have them do the work.
Hopefully, you can give us a review on your install ??
I just had them do my ECU "reflash". They do "excellent" work.
Absolute Pefection !
By the way, did they quote you the "labor" charge ??

I also just found out bout tsquare and diff install from eddie and andy at mynismo. Apparently tsquare installed andy's cusco and 3.7 as featured In this month's modified magazine. Not sure on labor charges tho. I was told to call them bak when I am ready to ship them the parts.

indeed 3.7 is what is in the 07.... you are on the same page as me for sure! I was interested in shorter gears before the 07 sedan and was debating on 3.5 or 3.7 (from Frontier or FX)... If you've driven the 07 sedan you will agree it has off idle to 60 zip much greater than pre-07... after that it levels out and quite frankly my modded 04 will take it. I just got off the phone with friend DaveO to see what he thought of my suspicion that the 07s zip is much to do with the 3.7FD... he believes it is a big factor.

I have been debating on wheels (CE28N) and tires... but I think they will wait for now. Quaife and 3.7 FD is on the car soon!!!! And yes, TS will do the install for me as well!

Thanks for sharing Jonnylaw, I think this is going to be a real good mod.

Edit: reference to "07" is sedan

Subscribed for a "future" AFTER review...

I went from 3.3 to 3.7 and it made for much better off the line feel.

Technosqaure rocks. They do just about anything you can think of. TT installs, custom cages, to minor stuff as well. In house superflow dyno too.

How did the gear change affect your Speedo ?
Did you have to have it "recalibrated" ??

Not sure if I have this right but your speedo should not be off, wheels are still turning at the correct revolution unless you change your overall tire height.

Your revs will be higher at any given rpm since the shortening of the FD will change the ratio of all the gears except 1:1 which should still be 1:1 overall.

thats basically what I've heard/read from others that have gone from 3.3 to 3.5 (and one or two to 3.7)... the only conern (to some) will be lower mpg due to slighter higher rmp. I'm not conerned about that. Thanks for your feedback Viet.

Tadashi could probably give a better of yes or no on the speedo deal. In my head with the technology and the number of control boxes in the car it should be looking to the sensors on the diff and at the wheels unless it's a more generic sensor or equation based on the what the ecu is programmed for in each drivetrain which could be the case since there are different ECU codes for drivetrain and tech and non tech packages.

Actually I just remembered.

When I snapped my axle (before I actually knew it was snapped) sitting in drive I could give it gas (it wasn't going anywhere) and the speedo went up to like 15-20 even though I wasn't moving so the speedo does look at the diff sensors for something.

Not sure if that helps but it was funny thinking about it again.
