I can see all the wifeys rolling their eyes when you try to tell them "but honey check out this cool new tsss noise the car makes!!"

Haha ya, my girlfriend thinks its cool and sounds good, but she thinks im spending too much on the car. She hasnt seen the Strup headers box i hid in my trunk yet, or found out about the HF cats yet. haha

i think u get that noise just with k&n. i get it on every gear shift. sounds awesome.

Ohh this mrev sounds amazing.... is it possible to have mrev in an AT? Someone on the last page said they couldn't get it cause they have AT.

Sorry, the MREV offers its full benefits to the '05+ 6MT's. However, the Motordyne Iso Thermal Plenum Spacer will afford a nice boost to your G's daily driveability.

The mrev sounds like the perfect mod for me, something to knock me back in my seat with a beautiful but loud note. This is just another reason why I regret getting an AT

I ran into that regret so many times when I had my 04 5AT. Thats why I traded up and went with the 05 6MT

Really? That's strange.. I have the z-tube and pop charger combo and as soon as I was done installing, I revv'd it up and it made the same exact TSS TSS hissing noise that the audio clip above made.. Also when I'm gunning it over 4K rpm on the highway it sounds VERY mean.. a loud ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! sound when in high RPMs...

I didn't get the MREV yet.

Update: I swapped out the K&N for the new Amsoil filter, and the noise is still there
