I finally got a chance to install my spacer this pasted Sunday and the install was a breeze. Took me about 40 minutes without a torque wrench. I had to make sure the bolts were on tight but no to tight. I took a test drive and did'nt feel a difference. Second test drive and reset the ecu first. Did the easy reset I found on the forum and also disconnected my battery also just to make sure. After that the car felt a little stronger. The sound was a lot deeper and made my greddy sp2 louder as well.
If anyone who installed the spacer make sure you re tighten the bolts whenever you have a chance. I had to re-tight the bolts about three times now. It seems like the middle bolts of the plenum need re-tightening though.

Bottom line: Easy install, deeper sound (both under the hood & from the exhaust as well), can feel the difference fast 3k rpm (for sure) & kicks on the freeway. Money well spent.

Good to hear you are happy with it. I am suprised that you have to keep retighten the bolts, I havent had to do that at all. Maybe your not making them tight enough to begin with? Anway, enjoy, I know I am!

Ya, I did'nt tighten the bolts to hard, I did'nt want to damage the bolts. But it seems good now, I just took a look under the hood and they are pretty good now. Thanks!

Even with an inch-lb. torque wrench, I had to go back and check the 6 center upper collector bolts. 4 out of the 6 bolts were approximately loose by 1+ turns from the original 60 inch-lb. setting.

nice mod, i'm thinking about going with the thicker spacer.... anyone know if it gives a lot more power or not?? Also, whats an easier way to reset the ECU without disconnecting the battery?

Does a grounding kit make installing a spacer more difficult, do you have to undo and then reattach the grounding wires to the top of the plenum again?

I simply removed the wires and reattached them. Where I had multiple wires in a group, I removed them and bound them together, so that they would not get all over the place.
